New to malatang? The ordering process is simple.

Start with a bowl and choose your own vegetables, meats, seafood, tofu products, fish balls, and noodles from the refrigerated display. Staff weigh the bowl, then you select the broth or dry preparation and spice level. Each person gets an individual bowl, so everyone can order differently.

The Denver opening information lists four choices: classic herbal bone broth, tomato broth, red-chili-oil malatang, and a dry mixed preparation. Bone broth and tomato are approachable soup options; the dry mix is a good choice if you want concentrated flavor without broth.

$14.99 per pound can add up faster than expected.

A typical bowl is often around one to one-and-a-half pounds, but noodles, rice cakes, potatoes, and water-heavy ingredients can increase the weight quickly. On a first visit, start modestly—you can always add more before weighing.

Pricing, menu choices, and hours may change after opening, so confirm current details before making a special trip.
