The City and County of Denver partnered with SpotHero on Mayor’s Park $5, scheduled from June 29 through the end of September 2026. It launched with roughly 3,000 spaces and a goal of reaching about 5,000 by late summer.
When is it available?
Pilot windows include Monday and Friday from morning into late afternoon, every weekday after 4 p.m., and up to 12 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Participating garages and exact windows depend on the current SpotHero result.
How to book the $5 rate
Search and reserve a participating space through SpotHero’s website or app. Reservations normally include a $0.99 service fee; the launch code MILEHIGH5 waived it, but the city said codes may change and availability is limited. Save the reservation and verify the garage and entry window before driving.
Why did Denver launch it?
The city wants to lower a barrier to dining, shopping, and events while using parking capacity that might otherwise sit empty. It is a summer pilot—not a citywide $5 mandate and not yet a permanent program.
