Arapahoe Hunt practices mounted foxhunting tradition on Colorado terrain, where the hounds generally follow coyotes rather than foxes. The formal season runs October through April. Guests may be welcomed by prior arrangement and must meet the hunt’s riding, etiquette, and fee requirements.

What to expect

  • Mounted riding behind a working hound pack
  • Traditional hunt attire and etiquette
  • Open-country riding on the Front Range

Wenxin’s planning notes
