Witch Paddle is scheduled rain, snow, or shine at Chatfield State Park. Every on-water participant, including children, must register; spectators do not. Beginning in 2026, the event supports Sacred Sisterhood Collective. This is not a learn-to-paddle session: organizers strongly recommend prior paddling experience.
What to expect

Paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes welcome
Fundraising for Sacred Sisterhood Collective
Wenxin’s planning notes
Bring your own craft, paddle, properly fitted PFD, and whistle.
Pack warm layers, dry clothes, and a towel; hypothermia is a real fall-water risk.
Chatfield vehicle entry is separate, and pets are restricted in key event areas.
