Witch Paddle is scheduled rain, snow, or shine at Chatfield State Park. Every on-water participant, including children, must register; spectators do not. Beginning in 2026, the event supports Sacred Sisterhood Collective. This is not a learn-to-paddle session: organizers strongly recommend prior paddling experience.

What to expect

  • A 9 a.m. group launch in witch costumes
  • Paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes welcome
  • Fundraising for Sacred Sisterhood Collective

Wenxin’s planning notes

  • Bring your own craft, paddle, properly fitted PFD, and whistle.
  • Pack warm layers, dry clothes, and a towel; hypothermia is a real fall-water risk.
  • Chatfield vehicle entry is separate, and pets are restricted in key event areas.
